This page contains more information about the Journal
Processing System.
About the System
The goal of the project is to prepare a comprehensive
specialist journal processing system based on the TeX
typesetting system. The system automates the preparation
of issues and simultaneously generates the materials
needed for a digital library. Processing of archival
digital-born articles into digital-library-suitable form
is part of the project as well.
The system is free software based on free-available
tools, especially
on the TeX typesetting system with the LaTeX extension.
The system follows
ideas of (and is partially based on) the CEDRAM journal
processing system. The
Tralics program is used
for the extraction of metadata about articles.
