Advanced Master's State Examination Procedure
Graduates of Master's degree programs who have obtained their "magistr"/"Mgr." degree
at university with accreditation in Czech Republic may take an Advanced Master's State Examination in their field of study,
a part of which is the applicants' defense of their Advanced Master's Theses.
If they meet all the requirements, they will be granted a doctoral degree in the field of natural sciences, and will be entitled to use the academic degree of the
Doctor of Natural Sciences - in short
RNDr.- in front of their names.
Please note that this is a state examination at a level above a master's degree, not a doctoral study leading to a Ph.D.

deadline for submitting applications for the Advanced Master's Examination procedure is
January 31, 2025.
The Advance Master's State Examination Procedure is meant to be understood as the initiation of an administrative process leading to the Advance Master's State Examination. - The fee for the Advance Master's State Examination Procedure is CZK 9600.
