Guide to admission to undergraduate programmes accredited in Czech
There are several easy steps to studying at FI.
Important dates such as when to apply and when the entrance exams will be can be found in the admissions timetable.

1. Choose your programme of study
It is possible to change your choice later, as you can transfer between programmes.

2. Apply and pay the fee
The application is submitted electronically and the fee is 750 CZK.

4. Admissions results
Check the results in your e-application in the IS. After the admissions committee meeting, you will find the result in your e-application. The admission proposal or the decision on non-admission is then inserted in the e-application during May. You will receive the admission decision at the end of June, after the authorised conversion of the school leaving certificate has been inserted and checked in the e-application.

5. Proof of high school diploma
You will receive an admission decision after submitting an authorised conversion of your school leaving certificate, at the end of June 2025.

6. Enrol for studies (online)
The invitation to enrol is sent electronically by inserting it into the e-enrolment form.

What if you don't get in?
If you end up just a few places "below the line", don't hang your head. If the expected number of students do not enter the course, the faculty usually automatically fills the vacant places with students according to their ranking.
And if it doesn't work out, don't despair and try again next year. If you believe we have got the admissions process wrong, appeal the decision. We will check that we have done the right thing.

The application is submitted electronically and the fee is 700 CZK.

3. Do I have to take the entrance exam?

The applicant for a waiver of the examination shall send a written application by post to be received by the FI Study Department by 30 November 2024. Application form with criteria for waiver of the examination (PDF).
In the case of a waiver of the entrance examination, the invitation to sit the examination is null and void. -
