What are focus groups in bachelor's studies?

Focus groups determine a group of a few courses that must be completed during the course of study. You need to complete at least 1 focus group while studying the Informatics programme. Completion of the focus group is a prerequisite for admission to the state final exam.

Focus groups as such are not selected in the study application or during the course of study. the courses of the given specialization are enrolled, and completion of all subjects of the given focus group means completion of the focus group as a whole.

What are specializations in master's studies?

Specializations typically determine several groups of compulsory or compulsory optional courses that must be completed during the course of study. They also adjust the recommended course of study.

Specializations are selected in the study application.

What are study plans in doctoral studies?

Study plans differ in the orientation of the Ph.D. studies, but they do not have a significant influence on them. Study plans are selected together with the full-time/combined form of study in the study application.
